  Overview

Ingenuity Analysis Services are scientific services that can help expedite your research programs. Our services leverage the knowledge of skilled professionals and best practices, and are tailored to meet your specific business needs. Our team of experts can help with:

  • Analysis and interpretation of 'omics datasets for compound profiling, lead identification and prioritization of therapeutic targets, and understanding disease mechanism of action and mechanism of toxicity.
  • Building biological models of disease processes for target identification and validation research.
  • Identification and prioritization of biomarkers via analysis of gene expression array, proteomics, or genotyping data.
  • Delivering a focused toxicity and safety assessment of your drug candidates.
  • Creating clear report summaries and graphics or pathways for presentations or publications.

ANALYSIS SERVICES CAN BE USED FOR:

Target identification/validation research

Lead identification/mechanism of action research

Biomarker research

Metabolomics research

Toxicity/safety assessment research

Highlights

What Services are offered?

Service projects are customized to meet your needs. They all include a complete list of references used to complete the project and includes a one–on-one consultation with the consulting Ingenuity scientist, enabling you to:

  • Learn how IPA was used to generate results, enabling you to replicate or explain the process
  • Understand the methodology, data parameters, and other important aspects of the results
  • Discuss results with an Ingenuity subject expert to ensure that your questions have been answered

Examples of Analysis Services Projects:

  • Custom pathways: When you need to understand key genes or processes in a system of interest, validate experimental assumptions, understand the biological effects of chemicals, or just gain a better understanding of the biological context of your genes of interest, Ingenuity scientists can help by creating a custom interactive pathway that reflects the relationships for your genes or chemicals of interest and other biological themes (such as diseases, signaling pathways, phenotypes, and drug targets).
  • Data Upload and Analysis Services: Ingenuity scientists will properly format and upload your dataset, and then run an analysis to understand such things as biological impact due to time and dose effects, key mechanistic differences between various patient populations, relationship of molecular events to higher-order cellular and disease processes, and relevance to organismal physiology and pathophysiology. In addition, you will receive written documentation of how the work was performed, what parameters were used, and obtain a written copy of the results.
  • Publishing Services: If you have no time to create top-notch presentations from your materials, Ingenuity scientists will create interactive, publication-quality, biologically accurate pathways that help you clearly communicate the core of your findings in publications or presentations. Reference lists can also be created.

What experimental platforms are supported?

  • Data from SNP chips, microarray experiments, proteomics experiments, and metabolomic experiments for analysis services
  • Smaller lists of genes, proteins, or chemicals for custom pathways, analysis services or publication services
  • Single genes, proteins, or chemicals for custom pathways or publication services

What format does my data have to be in?

  • Data should be provided to Ingenuity as an Excel worksheet.
  • Please include one column that is to be used as the Identifier type. Identifiers must be one of the Ingenuity accepted formats (see below).
